Two other suspects who were in the stolen vehicle fled on foot and remain at large, authorities said.

The teenager ditched the still-moving vehicle on Route 17 and fled on foot, hiding in a dumpster until police located him, police said. Police were still searching Friday for two other suspects who were allegedly in the vehicle with Pierce and also fled. As an officer approached the vehicle, it sped off. Police learned the car was reported stolen in New York City Nov. 23, according to authorities.
