Light snow is expected to start falling late Saturday night and continue through the early or mid-afternoon on Sunday, as a cold front pushes frigid air across New Jersey and a storm system develops along the front, forecasters said.

The blast of cold air on Sunday will be in stark contrast to the mild, almost-spring-like temperatures that will be hovering in New Jersey on Saturday. The mercury is expected to climb into the mid-50s to near 60 degrees, with partly sunny skies.
