Four Philadelphia Eagles fans are suing the Washington Commanders for an accident following the game at FedEx Field on Jan. 2.

Also named as defendants in the lawsuit are “Washington Football Incorporated Stadium, which owns the property at FedEx Field in Landover, Maryland, where the Commanders play; Contemporary Services Corp., which provides ushers and security at the stadium; and Company Does, which provide inspection, repairs maintenance design and oversight.”

ESPN reports the area where fans gathered was intended for people with disabilities. It did not have any seats and was meant for six individuals in wheelchairs and their companions. According to the report, one section of railing was held in place with a zip tie. The lawsuit contends no one advised the fans against leaning on the railing and no one from the Commanders reached out to any of the plaintiffs regarding potential injuries after the fall.
