The meteor could be seen from New Jersey on Saturday night.
A South Jersey photographer captured this image of a fireball meteor Saturday night in Goshen. If you were out and about Saturday night, you may have stumbled upon a rare sighting of what looked like a shooting star.
The post also stated that the meteor grew as bright as a quarter Moon and disintegrated at around 22 miles above Gnatstown, Pennsylvania, after traveling more than 55 miles through the atmosphere.
