Jozef Field, 29, is facing murder, assault and weapons charges in the death of Stephon Fisher, 18, of Trenton, according to a news release from the prosecutor’s office. Authorities arrived outside of The Kingsbury Towers on May 19, and found two 18-year-old men with gunshot wounds, according to the prosecutor’s office.
A ShotSpotter activation had alerted police to the incident. Both victims were transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center, where Fisher died shortly after, officials said. The other person suffered three gunshot wounds, they said. Field was arrested on July 29 at the Kingsbury Apartments. Steven Key, 30, of Trenton, who was also charged in connection with the homicide, died before his arrest.The investigation by the Mercer County Homicide Task Force and the Trenton Police Department remains ongoing, according to the prosecutor’s office.
