A Clinton Township man hit and seriously injured a woman with his car after leaving his house Saturday to confront neighbors who were setting off fireworks, prosecutors said.
The Clinton Township police were dispatched to the intersection of Deer Path Road and Old Mountain Road July 9 around 9:36 p.m. after receiving a report of fireworks in the area, officials said. Stephenson drove his white Jeep Wrangler off the road and onto a private property, hitting a 24-year-old woman in a field near where the fireworks were allegedly being set off, police said.
