N. America cinemas slash capacity to allow ‘social distancing’

NORTH America’s top movie theatres will reduce capacities by half over the Covid-19 pandemic to allow “social distancing” between customers, said the companies yesterday. AMC – the largest chain with 8,000 screens across the continent – will cap US audiences at 50% from today through to the end of next month.
