Myanmar's former State Counsellor Aung San Suu Kyi has been appealing her convictions for the various offences ranging from incitement and election fraud to corruption.
"Chairman of State Administration Council pardons Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, who was sentenced by the relevant courts," the broadcast said on Tuesday. "She won't be free from house arrest," said the source who declined to be identified due to the sensitivity of the issue.
