Myanmar authorities open new corruption cases against deposed leader Aung San Suu Kyi and other former officials from her government, state media says.

That law provides for up to 15 years in prison for those found guilty.Myanmar's military has been battling on multiple fronts to impose order since its Feb. 1 coup against Aung San Suu Kyi and her elected government sparked nationwide protests.
