'I'm a bride - guests canceled a week before my wedding and are demanding I refund their hotel bookings'
When the guests, who are members of herfamily, asked for a refund, the bride didn't think it was fair to give them it on their hotel accommodations because the cost of them not showing up would fall on the couple.
"It’s a block cost, so everyone paid the same amounts for their rooms, and all rooms were full in the venue," the bride shared on"Now that they’re not coming, they’ve asked for a refund for their accommodation and food. We’re saying no but being made to look like inconsiderate a**holes." The bride also shared that no one else could take their place due to the short notice and that she and her fiancé couldn't cover the cost and give out a refund.
She also shared that the guests had already received a 50% discount for their stay. Due to the late cancelation, the bride doesn't feel she should refund the guests. If they told her earlier that they couldn't make it, she suggests that this situation could have had a different outcome. Most read in Fabulous
