Frank Sinatra’s My Way loses title as most played song at funerals to iconic duet
FRANK Sinatra’s My Way has been knocked off the top spot in this year’s funeral hit parade.
More people have instead opted to play classical weepy Time to Say Goodbye as their ultimate farewell track.Credit: GettyBut My Way has been shifted into second spot by Sarah Brightman and Andrea Bocelli’s haunting duet Time to Say Goodbye as the favourite funeral tune’s epic deathbed anthem — which kicks off with the line: “And now the end is here, And so I face that final curtain” — has been No 1 in the Funeral Music Chart 11 times in the past 21 years.
