Johndell Butts-Washington's biological father is charged with inflicting serious bodily injury for what happened to the child when he was just a few months old.“Every day it’s on my mind my son doesn’t have justice. My son is suffering," said Butts.
Jazlynn wants there to be more action taken against the father of her child Kahlil Stewart, who is charged with aggravated assault, inflicting serious bodily injury on a child less than 13 and endangering the welfare of a child. It’s something Jazlynn is reminded about everyday. The 2 year old life has now conisited of dylisis every night, a feeding tube just to eat, loads of medicine, but battle scars showing his strength.
“The bleeding in his brain they said is consistent with being shaken back and forth he had blood behind his eye,” explained Jazlynn. Johndell has needed a kidney since the incident. His mom says because he can't eat regular food it’s hard for him to get to the weight he needs to be for a transplant.
