Bantwini unveiled big plans for the Abantu festival, anticipating a three-year partnership with the City of Cape Town.Musician Zakes Bantwini is ready to bow out of making music with his last album. The Grammy Award winning artist tells us that the days of making music for himself are over.He is in the process of parting ways with recording company Universal and, after that, he will be a free man.

"I will have no other obligations... an obligation perhaps I would have would be to release other people's needs and nothing else. It's over."will be his final bow before he focuses entirely on being a music executive behind artists such as Boity and Nomcebo. He will still be in the music industry, but not at the forefront. Thehitmaker is now part of the talent agency, Aline, which represents African talent.

"We get to explore the music industry through the lens of business and actually taking our brand, you know, in the direction that will kind of benefit us years to come and not feel like we're changed to something that we don't wanna be a part of anymore."
