Janabou led the appeal, followed by Neveah Sage, Victorya Hardaway, Daniya Vidal and Iman Zakaria, all members of The Lemonade Circle, a nonprofit founded by Brandi Coleman to empower and mentor girls of color from the fifth through 12th grades.
