For weeks leading up to her regular dentist appointment, reporter Bethan Shufflebotham had been seeing water flossers all over her TikTok For You Page. She says she initially dismissed them as an unnecessary gimmick, considering she already used interdental brushes, floss, a toothbrush, and mouthwash.

To kick off, I attached the 0.5mm ultra-fine water column, filled up the tank and got cracking.
Although the device is somewhat bulky, and I sometimes find it challenging to switch it off swiftly, it's generally a doddle to use, with no need for constant refills and a 30-day battery life, meaning it only needs charging once a month. Sometimes, I even add a dash of mouthwash into the water for that extra-clean sensation.
However, one user did find it a bit tricky, saying: "As a first-time water flosser user, I found the COSLUS Water Dental Flosser Pick to be effective! It easily reaches between teeth and dislodges food particles. However, it is a bit bulky and awkward to manoeuvre. Overall, it does a good job cleaning teeth, even if it's not the most convenient tool."
