Subaru is hyping up fans ahead of the upcoming Japan Mobility Show 2023, releasing some details about its exhibit. While a special edition Forester and a new Levorg variant for the Japanese market are interesting enough, the brand’s latest EV sports car concept is set to be the real highlight of the October 25 press conference.
While that may seem somewhat strange for a sports car, Subaru’s brief outline of the car might provide some answers. The automaker says that the Subaru Sport Mobility Concept embodies “the pleasure of going anywhere, anytime, and driving at will in everyday to extraordinary environments.” That statement is further bolstered by comments about evolving Subaru Sport values. With the exception of the BRZ, those values traditionally involved some sort of loose surface capability.
