MW3 Season 5 has seen an even bigger influx of cheaters, with most players blaming crossplay and PC gamers.
If you’ve played any CoD game over the past few years, you’re probably already familiar with the series’ ever-present cheating problem. Although Activision has plenty of measures to counteract these sorts of exploits, it’s nearly impossible to remove every instance since the cheat developers themselves are finding new ways to introduce them to games. And unfortunately, MW3 is the latest victim, as Season 5 has somehow seen an even bigger influx of hackers.
However, some, like user IntoValhallaX, also pointed out that there are plenty of cheaters on consoles since this was an issue even before Activision introduced crossplay. Alas, this has also caused Modern Warfare 3 to drop to ‘Mostly Negative’ reviews on Steam due to its rampant issues with cheating, questionable microtransaction practices, and frustrating in-game advertisements. Hopefully, Activision can find a way to reduce the number of MW3 Season 5 cheaters.
