A woman is suing music mogul Sean Combs , alleging he drugged and sexually assaulted her when she was 16 years old. The incident allegedly occurred in late August or early September 2000, as the woman was walking home from a babysitting gig in lower Manhattan. According to the lawsuit, filed in Manhattan, Combs approached her while she was exiting an apartment building where he had a relationship with a well-known woman who also resided there.
The plaintiff claims Combs engaged her in conversation, expressing concern for her safety walking alone at night. Despite her assurances that she lived nearby and would be fine, Combs allegedly persuaded her to get into his SUV. The lawsuit states that during the ride, the woman became scared when they didn't drop her off at home as promised. Combs then allegedly gave her a drink to calm her down, causing her to feel groggy and unsteady. She claims there were two other men in the vehicle with Combs, identified as John Does. The lawsuit alleges that Combs and the men drove her to a location where she was raped by Combs before eventually returning her home and leaving her in the lobby of her apartment building. The woman, who grew up in New York City and was a student at The Museum School at the time, says she now regrets getting into Combs' car that day.This lawsuit follows at least 40 other lawsuits filed against Combs over the past 16 months, alleging sexual assault or similar misconduct. Combs' legal team has consistently denied these accusations, stating that he has never sexually assaulted or trafficked anyone.
