An additional fundraising round is anticipated later this year. Triller also announced its groundbreaking AI technology that offers transparent attribution for music used in AI training. This allows rightsholders to monitor, control, and ultimately sunset the usage of their copyrighted material. Musical AI, the company behind this technology, emphasizes the importance of sustainable and ethical AI training by providing this unprecedented level of transparency. On a global scale, FUGA announced its expansion in the Asia-Pacific region through strategic partnerships and signings in Indonesia, India, and the Philippines. In Indonesia, FUGA collaborated with Jakarta-based label, Green Hill, acquiring a further stake in the instrumental group's master audio catalog. FUGA also entered into a distribution deal with Green Hill, promising to actively contribute to the strategic growth of The Piano Guys' catalog and new releases. Live Nation and Live Nation Urban, through their newly formed venture fund, have invested in Breakr, a creator marketing and tech platform. This investment aims to support Black founders in the live music industry, particularly those operating in the pre-seed and seed funding stages. BreakrPay, a new instant pay system unveiled by Breakr, enables companies to fund campaigns immediately, allowing influencers to be paid in real-time.Another major development in the music industry saw Virgin Music Group partner with RainLabs, a Ghanaian music management and marketing company.
