KOTA KINABALU: Former chief minister Tan Sri Musa Aman is demanding RM1bil from the Yayasan Sabah board of trustees for statements made in connection with a RM872mil suit filed against him.
Musa’s lawyer Tengku Fuad Tengku Ahmad said that he has been instructed to issue letters of demand to the foundation’s trustees including Chief Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal to retract and apologise for the claims.
Fuad said Musa wants them to pay RM1bil to a charity of his choice, an unconditional apology and a retraction of the statements made on the suit. According to Fuad, they have tried to serve the letter of demand to Shafie at his house but he had declined it. “We consider it served.”
