Murphy will hit the road again to help fellow Democratic governor
is hitting the road again to throw his support behind another Democratic governor who’s in a tight fight for re-election in Nevada, NJ Advance Media has learned.
Murphy, who is slated to take the reins of the Democratic Governors Association later this year, will be there Wednesday to support Gov. Add your email below and hit"subscribe"But Murphy will first head to Salt Lake City Utah Monday night for a National Governors Association event. The governor is the chairman of the NGA and, along with GOP Utah Gov. Spencer Cox, who is the vice chairman, will use the event to focus on strengthening youth mental health, Murphy’s office said.
The governor will be there until he heads to Nevada Wednesday afternoon where he’ll meet with Sisolak in Las Vegas and have a series of meetings with labor groups.to boost Democratic gubernatorial hopeful Charlie Crist’s chances of unseating Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis.in a speech where he said the GOP is to blame for “activist judges” who dismantled many women’s right to seek an abortion in the nation.
