Danny Murphy has revealed how his deadline day move to Fulham almost fell through like Hakim Ziyech’s failed PSG switch.after issues surrounding documents pertaining to his move to the Parc des Princes.Ziyech completed his medical and all other media duties in the French capital ahead of his unveiling but the deal fell through as the paperwork was not filed on time.
PSG’s appeal was rejected on Thursday morning by French football’s governing body meaning the 29-year-old heads back to Stamford Bridge for the remainder of the season.The saga sparked memories of a deadline day move that almost fell through for talkSPORT’s Murphy.“I was driving away from Fulham’s training ground when I moved there from Tottenham and I got a phone call at about 11.30,” Murphy recalls.
