Hundreds of protesters marched on Brisbane Parliament on Wednesday calling for tougher sentences for young offenders.
The mother of a murdered teenager whose killers' convictions have been thrown out has joined hundreds of protesters to demand tougher penalties for young offenders.
"You've got young offenders who are first time offenders mixing in with violent killers, and they're recruiting these kids. We need to separate them," Ms Liddle said.
