More than three years after a 72-year-old man was fatally shot his stepson will be going to trial.
– The stepson of a 72-year-old man fatally shot more than three years ago will be going to trial Monday.
Danny Allen is facing a first-degree murder charge for the death of Tomas Cervantes Moreno in April 2019. At the time, police said they were called around 1:20 p.m. to the 4100 block of Willowbrook Drive, where arriving officers found Moreno dead from gunfire.Officers said they determined during questioning that Moreno, Allen’s stepfather, was arguing with his significant other when Allen walked into the bedroom they were arguing in and opened fire.If found guilty, Allen faces up to life in prison.
