A suspect in the murder of a 21-year-old nursing student was arrested after a member of the public allegedly recognized him from a 'Sugar Daddy' website.
HOUSTON , Texas - A suspect in the murder of a 21-year-old nursing student was arrested after a member of the public allegedly recognized him from a " Sugar Daddy " website.
21-year-old Muna Pandey was found in her apartment with multiple gunshot wounds on August 26 after Houston police received an anonymous call of a body in a unit at the address. The staff member who took the call said the speaker had a male voice. The biggest lead police found was a security camera recording that captured the suspect's face and body. Police said the recording showed Pandey and approach her door with an adult man wielding a pistol. Pandey held a shoe box, a shopping bag, and a black purse. According to court documents obtained byThe pair allegedly stepped inside and the man locked the door behind him. He left an hour later, and police believe he was holding Pandey's purse.
A second caller allegedly said she "instantly" recognized the suspect from a "Sugar Daddy" website, in which men would buy items for women. She also apparently identified the suspect by name, recalling he went by "Bobby Shah" on the site.Stay Connected
