According to John Nanny with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, authorities received information that a man wanted for a murder which happened several weeks ago off Uvalde Road was at the Baytown Super 8 hotel located at 1931 East Freeway.Because it was believed that the suspect may have been armed with a rifle, SWAT was called into the scene. After about two or three hours, the suspect surrendered.
