Stuart McGeachie died following an incident on Farmeloan Road.
The 38-year-old dad was seriously assaulted outside the Victoria Bar before making his way to a nearby flat where he was pronounced dead.Multiple reports from the scene and on social media claim he was stabbed, however the force has remained tight-lipped on this.
"Extensive enquiries are ongoing and officers are continuing to gather CCTV footage from the surrounding area. "Stuart's family are absolutely devastated and it's imperative that we get them answers about his death. They said: "We are devastated at the loss of Stuart, he was a much-loved son, father and brother who will be greatly missed.
