San Antonio man who allegedly ‘snapped’ indicted on murder charge in roommate’s death
Rene Devora, 58, was charged with murder in connection with the death of Miranda Machelle Kennedy, 35.A San Antonio man accused of killing his roommate, placing her body in the trunk of a car and barricading himself inside his home for 12 hours in December has been indicted on a murder charge.
At some point in the standoff, he allegedly told negotiators he put Kennedy’s body in the trunk of his car and drove to the 5500 block of Old Seguin Road. His case is being prosecuted by the DA’s Office Family Violence Division in the 399th District Court.
