Murder accused Pasile changes his tune and wants a lawyer

Pasile, wearing black trousers, a black t-shirt and navy-blue jacket, told the judge that he had changed his mind and would like to be represented by a Legal Aid lawyer.

Judge Beneke postponed the matter to Friday in order for Pasile to get a lawyer ahead of the November 29 provisional pre-trial date. I am very angry and sad. First of all, we were not even aware as students that the perpetrator was appearing in court today. We only heard this morning [that] he was appearing.
