Muntinlupa City’s active Covid-19 cases rose sharply, prompting officials to urge the public to wear face masks again. ManilaBulletin

The Muntinlupa City Health Office reported that as of May 1, the city’s active Covid-19 cases totaled 38, an increase of 245 percent compared to just 11 as of April 24.Two people have died from Covid-19 in the past week with the tally showing the total deaths in Muntinlupa increasing to 654 as of May 1 from 652 as of April 24.

Since the pandemic started in 2020, Muntinlupa has recorded 46,334 confirmed cases; 45,642 recoveries; and 654 deaths.
