The San Francisco Muni cipal Transportation Agency is extending the westbound Muni 30 Stockton line farther into the Presidio as part of a larger effort to connect the national park to other destinations in The City.
Funding for the bus terminal came through the 2022 federal Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and and a grant from the California Natural Resources Agency. The terminal’s construction also created an accessible sidewalk, which will lead visitors to Outpost Meadow, a picnic area set to open next summer. Tumlin added that transportation investments would help The City’s economic recovery in a “socially just” fashion by bringing visitors directly to parks, open spaces, arts, culture, food and more.
