Irresponsible or the experience of a lifetime that is too hard to pass up?
A mum has said she's worried she's 'irresponsible' for pulling a 'sickie' so her kids can go with her to Glastonbury.
In the post, the anonymous woman explained that her youngest child would have already finished their SATS by the time of the festival, and so she didn't expect any issues taking them out of school. However, her eldest child, who is in secondary school, is not allow to have time off.In the post, she said: "Me and husband have Glasto tickets. My mum was going to look after the kids but now can’t come down.
"It’s more how to do it? Formally and it’s likely I will get fined! I feel really bad pulling a sickie but I feel like it’s a great experience for them & one that they will remember. "Irresponsible parents or life experience?! I really don’t want to have to give up my tickets with 6 weeks to go!"
