Lianne has now set up a petition calling for training in how to stop dog attacks
Lianne Jackson, 42, from Birkenhead wants to implement safety training to intervene in dog attacks after watching footage of Ian Price being mauled by two XL bully dogs. Ian was attacked in Staffordshire, at around 3.15pm on Thursday, September 15, and died in hospital later that evening.
Lianne told the ECHO: "I was not sure what I was watching at first and I have been so upset since I saw it. Seeing that man being brutally attacked was horrible. The two dogs involved in the attack, thought to be XL bullies, died during the incident and tests are continuing to determine their breed. Staffordshire Police added that one of the dogs died after being restrained and the other died after an injection was given by a vet.
