A mum has thanked a kind couple who went “above and beyond” for her son after he injured himself in Stockport . Jessica Hulme was visiting Woodbank Park with her family when the accident happened at around 4pm June 23. Her seven-year-old son Roary was riding his bike when he suddenly fell and broke his arm.
Roary needed an operation for his injury and was in theatre for three hours, Jessica said. He is now recovering well at home – but the mum-of-two is keen to trace the kind strangers who rushed to her son’s aid.Jessica, from Offerton, told the Manchester Evening News: “My four-year-old daughter was scared for her brother – I just remember Roary turning white! He was crying saying he couldn’t move it and there was a big lump where was displaced.
