A series of incidents unfolded across Central Texas over the weekend, including a home invasion in Cedar Park with an arrest, a fatal pedestrian crash in downtown Austin, and other events in San Marcos and at the Austin Executive Airport.

According to Cedar Park police, the incident took place at the 1600 block of S Lakeline Blvd. when officers responded to reports of a man with a gun at an apartment complex. Officers determined a home invasion had occurred.

The suspect reportedly threatened an occupant of the apartment with a firearm and assaulted two occupants before fleeing the scene.The suspect was identified as 24-year-old Donavan Pace of Pflugerville. Central Texas Regional SWAT helped in locating Pace at a residence in Pflugerville. He was taken into custody without incident. A search warrant was executed and the firearm used in the incident was recovered.Pace was charged with Burglary of a Habitation with Intent to Commit a Felony. Additional charges for Felon in Possession of a Firearm are being reviewed.
