Police are currently investigating a crash in East Cleveland involving an RTA bus.
EAST CLEVELAND , Ohio -
19 News crews confirmed the True and Living God Apostolic Faith Church, located at 14432 Euclid Ave., sustained damage from the crash. On scene of a RTA Bus versus Car MVA. It’s reported that several people were injured and transported to University Hospitals. A church was also severely damaged in the accident on the Eastside of Cleveland. Euclid Avenue at Marloes Road right next to City Hall.According to Fleig, a car crossed the center line and struck the RTA bus and then smashed into the church.
Pastor Robert Carpenter and first lady Angela Carpenter told 19 News they found out a car struck their church after a friend watching the news called them.The car hit the building right where the pastor and first lady sat during church services. Luckily, they’re closed on Friday.19 News has reached out to East Cleveland Police and RTA Police for more details.
