After 16 trips back and forth, she has more than 60 credits to her name, with 47 hitting the Billboard charts.In 2017, at the height of her songwriting success, she survived a devastating car accident that nearly took her life. Her feet were severed, her leg shattered, her arm crushed. Doctors told her she’d never walk again.says she knew she was born to sing, and the same faith she was raised on, and the same faith that brought her success, will be the same one to get her walking again, and she did!, Chikk is blending the genres that shaped her into a debut album dropping this fall. The lead single, “Proud,” is a personal anthem, and her recent performance at House of Blues Houston proved that the world is ready for her sound. “When we performed our originals, the crowd told us everything we needed to know.
