Muhyiddin gave monetary aid, food baskets without negotiation, says PN

Opposition MPs again question the need to discuss allocations with unity government.

Pasir Mas MP Ahmad Fadhli Shaari said Dr Mahathir Moihamad, Muhyiddin Yassin and menteris besar in PN-led states have given the opposition allocations without consultation.

He said Mahathir also announced an allocation of RM100,000 to opposition MPs for the running of their service centres in 2018. Yesterday, deputy prime minister Fadillah Yusof also said the opposition MPs have yet to submit a request for allocations despite the government’s invitation. “They have not sent their request letters so far,” he told FMT.
