PETALING JAYA: Muda has apologised for setting up a pop-up stall which had obstructed the tactile pavement for the blind near KL Sentral.
Muda information chief Luqman Long apologised for this in a Twitter post on Saturday, saying that he and his friends admit to their mistake.Taking responsibility for the issue, Luqman said this has gone against the principle of protecting all as a community. This comes after a Twitter user going by the handle @Mulut_Cabai who posted photos of a table set up close to the tactile pavement.
“Dear@partimuda. I have nothing against your #MUDAhustle. I have nothing against your #MUDAhustle. In fact I would compliment the idea. You talk about new politics but yet opened a table on the tactile pavement made for the visually-impaired,” the tweet read.“Thank you for bringing this to our attention.I sincerely apologise for causing an inconvenient situation for the disabled community. I have taken down the post to not encourage others to repeat the mistake that we did,” she said in a tweet.
I believe the Muda Penerangan team has also taken note of the comments we have been receiving, and will be more mindful in our planning. This is a lesson for us to learn from,” she added. Muda had set up the pop up stall selling its merchandise and masala tea near the KL Sentral station on Saturday .
