Scattered showers move in this week, bringing much needed rain to central Indiana.

It will be a pleasant evening, with temperatures only falling into the upper 60s this evening and eventually falling into the upper 50s by Monday morning.

Monday will be another above average day, with temperatures climbing into the upper 70s and low 80s, under mostly sunny skies.A shift in the pattern moves in by Tuesday afternoon. Much needed rain returns to central Indiana. Indianapolis has only recorded 0.17" of rain this entire month. By Sept. 24th, the normal value for the month is 2.41".Credit: WTHR
