Taylor Swift and SZA have received the most nominations for the MTV Video Music Awards. Swift is nominated for eight awards, while SZA has six nominations. Both artists will compete for the video of the year, where female acts dominate.
All of the songs have hit the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart with the exception of Doja Cat’s “Attention,” which was released two months ago.
