mcu's ms marvel kamala khan, thor and hulk

In a shock turn of events, Marvel has laid out exactly how Kamala Khan's story will end, with a fittingly impressive conclusion for Ms. Marvel's adventures. Kamala Khan Will Become the First Mutant President In today's Inglorious X-Force #1 - from Tim Seeley, Michael Sta.

Maria, Romulo Fajardo Jr. and Joe Caramagna - Cable travels back from the future with a desperate new mission. His memory damaged by a hasty jump through time, Cable knows that he just witnessed the assassination of the first mutant president, and he has a shortlist of the potential assassins. After gathering Archangel, Hellverine and Boom-Boom, Cable reaches out to Kamala Khan's Ms. Marvel. However, it turns out the young hero isn't one of the potential assassins - she's destined to become president of the United States. Cable's mission is to discover the identity of the assassin and protect Kamala, training and preparing her for the role she's destined to take. Kamala accepts Cable's offer, but refuses to go into hiding as he requests. Instead, she'll join X-Force for missions while remaining a local superhero in Jersey City. Our Take on Ms. Marvel's Ending Making Ms. Marvel the first mutant president is a great idea from Marvel for a number of reasons. First, Kamala now has a specific purpose in X-Men lore. While Kamala was declared an official mutant in 2023, she's failed to really find an identity within the franchise, existing on the margins even after a recent adventure through X-Men history. This isn't the first time Kamala Khan has been shown as president. She had the job in the future of All-New Wolverine, however wasn't considered a mutant at the time. Turning Kamala into a crucial figure in mutantkind's future - someone who prevents a war between humans and mutants, according to Cable - binds her more closely and meaningfully to the franchise It's also encouraging to see Marvel imagining a future where a Muslim hero is president of America. X-Men has long been bound up in discussions of real-life prejudice and marginalization, and while the franchise often warns of the worst-case scenario, there's also room for more optimistic attitudes to societal potential.
