The sprawling Hill Country ranch owned by the family behind Mrs. Baird ’s bread products has hit the market with a price tag of $12.9 million. Located about six miles east of Johnson City , the Baird Miller Creek Ranch includes more than 760 acres of rolling grasslands, riparian landscapes and panoramic views of the Pedernales River valley, according to a listing by brokers Ross Studer , Lindsey Holubec and Charles Davidson of Republic Ranches .
The ranch also includes three ponds that can be stocked with fish, three water wells and a large submersible pump in the creek historically used to provide water for gardening. “Miller Creek flows through the property providing year-round live water with unparalleled privacy,” Studer added. “That’s a duo of attributes that are hard to come by these days.
