The Kittredge family constructed this compound for enjoyment and to share with family, friends, co-workers and colleagues alike. As a representative stated, “A philanthropist, Michael structured his life around giving.” The main home was initially built in the 1980s, but Kittredge expanded it in eight stages, finally completing it in 2010. The primary bedroom wing occupies a whole side of the estate, featuring the main bedroom with a fireplace and a private balcony, two auxiliary bedroom suites, a kitchenette and an office. Michael Kittredge II passed away in 2019 at the age of 67, after twice battling cancer and suffering a stroke in 2012, which limited his mobility and speech.
