YouTuber MrBeast popped the question to his girlfriend Thea Booysen on Christmas Day, surprising her with a proposal in front of their families.
MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, proposed to his girlfriend Thea Booysen on Christmas Day. He shared the news on January 1st via Instagram, posting a carousel of photos from the day. The couple, both wearing MrBeast-branded Christmas sweaters, celebrated with family in front of the Christmas tree. Booysen also shared a video on her Instagram account, showing off her ring and celebrating with MrBeast and their dog.
Booysen told People that her family flew in from South Africa for Christmas and that MrBeast proposed during a gift opening. To make it a surprise, MrBeast said he intentionally dropped a large box to distract Booysen before presenting the ring. The couple met in 2022 when MrBeast was visiting South Africa, where Booysen is from. They bonded over conversations about science and YouTube
