This is believed to be for the purpose of stating where they stand in an effort to form a new federal government following the resignation of Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad as prime minister yesterday and the dissolution of the Cabinet.
They will be meeting the King in stages, with the first group made up of MPs from Parti Amanah Negara as well as MPs from Peninsular Malaysia at 11am.Al-Sultan Abdullah yesterday cancelled the appointments of all ministers on the advice of the prime minister, in accordance with Article of the Federal Constitution.Related stories
