The group ran the Mangaung Correctional Centre when Facebook rapist Thabo Bester faked his death and escaped the facility.
"I understand the outrage, that has been expressed and I think almost everybody except the legal representative of G4S is annoyed by what is done by G4S. It's holding everybody in contempt, they look down on us," Holomisa said.In a letter, the company said it was in no position to attend the meeting, and should rather be summoned due to confidentiality obligations.
"We as parliament need to exercise our oversight efficiently. And, regrettably, they are not here at our request.
