MELAKA: Hang Tuah Jaya Municipal Council (MPHTJ) president Datuk Shadan Othman has been elevated as the new Mayor of the Melaka Historic City Council (MBMB) from Feb 1.

In a statement issued on Wednesday , Zaidi also announced that Jasin Municipal Council president Datin Sapiah Haron would assume the post of MPHTJ president, also on Feb 1.
