MP demands explanation after pjcitycouncil officers rough up old man
In a statement, Lee said his office issued a letter to the council after a video of the incident went viral. “My office has demanded an explanation of the council’s SOPs for catching stray dogs.”“This includes for the conduct of officers involved . I hope that a detailed investigation will be conducted by the council’s integrity unit,” he said, adding such an incident should not happen again.
An enforcement team member can be seen hitting him with an iron rod used to catch dogs.The incident reportedly took place at Taman Kanagapuram, off Jalan Klang Lama, in Petaling Jaya, last night.
