Watford's MP has broken his silence over Boris Johnson after being pictured on TV with supporters at the PM's resignation speech.when asked about the Chris Pincher debacle and whether they still supported Mr Johnson.
But after eagle-eyed viewers spotted the Watford MP on BBC News yesterday, his team has confirmed he was there for Mr Johnson's resignation speech. Mr Johnson wants to remain in office until a successor is appointed - which could be until October with the summer recess just two weeks away. But there is growing pressure from senior Tories for him the step down immediately - with some calling for Deputy Prime Minister Dominic Raab to take over until a successor is chosen.
